Our Vision & Mission

We want building custom software to be as easy as talking to a chatbot. You shouldn't have to be a software engineer to build simple web apps -- let alone simple websites!

The Genesis of LlamaPress

LlamaPress started because we wanted to make it easier to build websites, and to let users own their project. Other web app builders keep you closed in on their ecosystem, and deny you access to own and run your project independently of them. Then, they extort you for money through their hosting fees if your project is successful.

Guiding Principles

• Open Source = true code ownership
• Simple chat + point interface, so you don't have to dig around into 50 layers of menus and configuration. 
• Tell the Chatbot what you want, and point to it
• Choose from our open source library of starting templates for your project. (We'll be adding a lot more soon, don't worry!)
